Set very close to the French border, Sauze d'Oulx is one of the main resorts of the Milky Way. With its massive 400 kilometres of runs, the resort appeal to skiers and snowboarders of all levels. From the village, skiers and boarders can take the series of chair lifts up the mountain to Sportinia - the hub of the mountain. Here you can also access Cesana and Sestriere.

The majority of runs here are suited to intermediates, but there are also good nursery slopes and some demanding black runs. Snow boarders will enjoy the wide, open pistes, but there are quite a few drag lifts to overcome. Mountain restaurants have a friendly, family atmosphere.

Off-snow activities include a bowling alley, sauna, ice rink and cinema. Wander round the old town, with its cobbled streets and beautiful old architecture. The old town offers a couple of traditional Italian family-run restaurants, whereas the modern quarters feature lively bars and nightclubs.
