Royal Grand Sharm is a classic hotel,a popular choice with the discerning customer.The splendid waterfront and architecture give it a special character. There is a bright and cheery appearance to the hotel giving it a homely feel away from home. The elegance and luxury are remarkable in all rooms. Architecturally, every room in the hotel has a nice view. Although the hotel is in a quite location you can reach the resort centre of Sharm El Sheikh or Naama Bay very easily as there is a shuttle bus to take you there, 3 times a day.
Note: Special Offer rooms are run of house, therefore view will be either Garden, Pool or Sea View.

Certain areas of the hotel property will be going under extensive renovations beginning 1st March 2013 until 30th September 2013. The established renovation plan includes major areas such as guest rooms, restaurants, kitchen, lobby, health club and outdoor areas like pools and beach. These renovations will include some heavy works although hotel will try and minimize impact wherever possible. Renovation areas will be out of guests' sight, rooms will be refurbished gradually in sections which are closed for guests and appropriate alternatives will be offered for temporary closed outlets.
Location
The hotel is located at the edge of the Om-El-Seid plateau overlooking the Red Sea and the Tiran Island. The hotel's floating jetty (you can only enter the sea via the jetty due to coral reef) provides easy access to the two beautiful and very well known housereefs (Paradise and Turtles reefs). The hotel is only 18 km from the airport, 2 km from Sharm El Sheikh's town centre and 10 km from Naama Bay.

stayed at beach albatros for first 15 days of holiday and this hotel did not compare favourably at all in food, friendliness, cleanliness of dining room, glasses used around pool area quite dangerous with small children there, after a couple of days I transferred back to the beach albatros - hurrah
