Al Diwan Resort is a small, friendly and welcoming hotel that gives guests a chance to enjoy the decor and surroundings typical of Egypt. Apart from enjoying the charm and style of the hotel, guests get free use of Sharks Bay beach which is the best known and most popular spot for diving and snorkelling in the area.The hotel is offically a 3+ but due to the hotels style and charm we have given it a 4 sun rating.The rooms are built around the swimming pools and about half have pool views. All rooms are decorated in keeping with the traditional feel of the hotel. The hotel has a total of 151 rooms divided into; Family rooms with two separate bed rooms and a living area and standard twin rooms some with balcony or panoramic windows. All rooms have satellite TV and fridge with individual air conditioning and all bathrooms have a walk in shower.Safety deposit boxes available from reception (payable locally).

Situated a short distance from Sharm airport and just off the main road. The Al Diwan Resort Hotel is located on the side road down to Sharks Bay which is just over 2 kms further down. Naama Bay is 8kms away and the nightlife there is easily accessible as the hotel operates a bus service in the evening.

The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (13:00-15:00) and dinner (19:00-21:00), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals whiskey, beer and wine are offered. Also at the disposal of the AI guests are two more restaurants; Dolma - Oriental, open air Nubian. Snacks such as pizza and sandwiches are available between 12:00 & 13:00 at the Dolma bar as well as tea & coffee time with English cake from 17:00-18:00. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like spirits, soft drinks and mineral water are served by the glass at the bars from 10:00-22:00.
