Portinatx

Some argue the rugged coastline, small bays and idyllic coves of Portinatx make it the most beautiful resort in Ibiza. Tucked away on the northern tip of the island, Portinatx is often praised for its natural beauty. The resort's unique double bay is divided into three small sandy beaches with crystal-clear waters on one side and wooded hills on the other.

The first two beaches, S'Arenal Gros and S'Arenal Petit, are the liveliest and bustle with souvenir shops and bars. S'Arenal Gros is the largest of Portinatx's beaches spanning 160 metres in length and offering a wide selection of water sports and a water park. On the other side of town is the smaller more secluded Playa Porto - a little cove with a rocky shoreline and more traditional charm - even lobster pots! Here visitors can dine on locally caught seafood while taking in the spectacular scenery.

All three beaches are popular with families due to their shallow waters and great bathing. The resort also offers a selection of shops, bars, restaurants and even a nightclub. Situated 18 miles from Ibiza Town, Portinatx has grown in to the largest resort on the northern coast of Ibiza and is accessible by both cars and buses.
