Cheap Holidays Barcelona is a fantastically lively, cosmopolitan city with many attractions to keep you busy through the day and a vast selection of bars & clubs to entertain you at night. There are a number of absolute must sees in Barcelona that should be experienced by everyone who visits including Park Guell, the Sagrada Familia, the Barri Gotic & Las Ramblas areas & the beach. Park Guell is a stunning city garden, created by Gaudi it optimises the architects radical and fluid style, with amazing mosaic structures complimenting the surrounding woodland. The park is magical with its intertwining columns and colourful patterns, key features are the famous dragon fountain and Gaudi museum. The Sagrada Familia is Gaudi's great unfinished temple which is literally a breathtaking site. This monument to the visionary architect soars above the streets of Barcelona and is the most unique and unforgettable structure you will every see.

Package Holidays The Barri Gotic (Gothic Quarter) is a maze of narrow streets, grand churches and ancient ruins. Among which you can find local markets, funky shops, cool bars and restaurants. From the Barri Gotic you can easily walk to the famous Las Ramblas, a street which is home to many street performers & artists (check out the naked caricaturist!), outside cafes & bars and the Gaudi-esque food market. The beach at Barceloneta is easily accessible from Barceloneta Metro station. There are also other beaches at Nova Icaria, Mar Bella and Bogatell. For great nightlife check out the streets of the Barri Gothic/Las Ramblas, Port Vell & Port Olimpic and Eixample though you can find fantastic bars and clubs pretty much anywhere in Barcelona! We want you to have the best holiday experience you can so check out our top tips from our personal experiences of Barcelona.

Beach Holidays Top tips: Nightlife - Chill out in Placa Reial's (off Las Ramblas) outside bars any time of year, if your up for clubbing till the small hours when the bars shut at 2am visit Jamboree (R&B/Hip Hop) or Sidecar (Indie/Rock) located inside Placa Reial. If you fancy a more sedate night out hunt out a large brown door and ring the buzzer next to the sign of the pipe, this is the Pipa club which is a favourite for late night drinking. Razzmatazz Beer The local beer is Estrella Damm which is reasonably priced and available on draft or by the bottle throughout Barcelona's many bars. Transport EUR6 will get you 10 stops on and off the Metro system which is an excellent way to get around the sprawling city, if your feet are tired from all the late night clubbing! Shopping Get off the Metro at Passeig de Gracia and you've got Zara, Mango, H&M & Miss Sixty right in front of you! For more quirky shops explore the maze of streets in the Barri Gothic.
