Costa del Silencio, 'the silent coast' is set on the south coast of Tenerife. This former Canarian fishing village manages to retain its traditional charm. Costa del Silencio doesn't have its own beach, but the black-sand beach of Las Galletas is just a 10-minute walk away, and is popular with surfers for its Atlantic swells. Holidays in Costa del Silencio offer easy access to the neighbouring resort of Las Galletas, with its small natural harbour and promenade lined with fine seafood restaurants, shops and bars.

Las Galletas harbour is also the mooring point of The Golden Trout Yellow Submarine. Visitors can sign-up for trips on the submarine, which last approximately an hour. Evenings are spent enjoy drinks in the relaxed bars and tucking into traditional Canarian cuisine and international favourites in the restaurants. Holidays in Costa del Silencio offer excellent public transport, with regular bus services linking it to neighbouring resorts up and down the coast, such as Playa de Las Americas, 7.5 miles, (12 kilometres) away. Las Americas is popular for its spacious beaches, wealth of water sports, bustling market, and an endless choice of lively bars, happy hours, karaoke, big-name DJs and pulsating nightclubs. Other excursions include fun-packed family days out to Aqua Park, camel trekking, boat trips, and explorations of Mount Teide National Park.
