Cala Llonga

Cala Llonga has secured its place as one of Ibiza's most picturesque resorts. Its appeal is undoubtedly due to its fine white-sand beach and turquoise waters set against a stunning backdrop of forested hills. Situated on the east side of the island, Cala Llonga is just six miles north of Ibiza Town and three miles south of Santa Eulalia.

This former smuggler's haunt has developed into a self-sufficient tourist resort. Although smaller than its neighbouring towns, Cala Llonga comes alive during the summer months and offers a plentiful collection of bars, shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets, so visitors don't have to wander far to find everything they're looking for.

Approximately 200 metres long and 100 metres wide, the beach is dotted with sun beds and umbrellas, creating a perfect setting for sun worshippers. The resort is especially popular with families due to its shallow waters and quiet relaxed atmosphere. Water sports-enthusiasts can enjoy a wealth of amenities, including parasailing, scuba diving, water skiing and wind surfing. A golf course can also be found just three miles away. Regular buses and ferries run to and from nearby Santa Eulalia and Ibiza Town.
